So.. I make videos on yotbuue. But I want it to have the button so my subscribers can watch the video if they choose in HD. I've been searching for a way but the ways I watched are not for VIDEO CAMERAS. I can't buy a new video recorder or whatever because my family won't let me, so could you guys tell me how to make my videos on windows movie maker with a video camera? Thank you in advance!
I just started using Site5 for a ceinlts site and it's awesome! I also have a church on Dreamhost because they offer free hosting for life to non-profits, and my experience with them as been good also, although their admin/panel area is not nearly as user friendly as Site5
What camera is it?Keep in mind, ANY video or mivnog image can be put on a computer. Yes, even right back to Thomas Edison's experiments on a film motion picture camera, or all the reels of 1-inch videotape used in broadcast a few decades back. You need a device to convert analog video to digital video. This could be as cheap as something like the Dazzle device by Pinnacle, which plugs in over USB but makes the video suffer a bit of a quality hit. It can also range up to things like PCI capture cards from AJA or Blackmagic, which will run into the thousands of dollars, but let you capture fully uncompressed video (which most people don't need, even many people who work in video professionally).First, make sure your camera is indeed NOT a digital camera. Many think that MiniDV tape cameras are not digital, but they are connect a FireWire cable to your computer and the camera, and you're set to go! That'll copy the data from the tape, in the exact same DV format that's on the tape. For older formats, like Hi8, 8mm, VHS-C, etc. you need a capture/converter device. There are USB converters like the Dazzle (OK), FireWire converters like the Grass Valley ADVC series and ADS Pyro A/V Link (better, if you have a FireWire port on your computer!), or capture cards that connect to an open card slot on your computer (also better). These devices will convert your video to a digital format, and get it into your computer for editing.
